Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) has competitions called Salons.  There is a National Salon in the new year, and a Regional Salon in the fall.  The scores are Accepted, Merit, and Excellence.  We are all owed to enter 4 images in 3 categories and we are judged by a panel of our peers.
